Winter Hiking

Hiking can be part of a Perfect Colorado Life. I always thought of it as a three-season activity, but this winter, I am determined to go on a winter hike or two!

Here are some places to check out for a winter hike:

  • Saint Mary’s Glacier, Idaho Springs, CO: 2 miles out and back

  • Mount Sanitas, Boulder, CO: 3.83 mile loop

  • Green Mountain Trail, Lakewood, CO: 6.37 mile loop

  • Waterton Canyon, Littleton, CO: 12.4 miles out and back

  • Manitou Incline, Manitou, CO: 3.8 mile loop (almost 2,000 increase in elevation, though)
